Batting Lessons

Success at the plate begins with a solid foundation. Our hitting lessons emphasize the fundamentals, focusing on proper mechanics and confidence-building. We foster a positive environment where athletes can develop muscle memory and mental toughness. These lessons are ideal for beginners as well as those looking to adjust their hitting technique.

Catching Lessons (Up to 12U)

Great catchers are built from the ground up! Led by our youth instructor, these sessions are specifically designed for beginners and developing players up to the 12U level.

Our lessons focus on mastering a rock-solid foundation:

  • The Fundamentals: Proper receiving, framing, and blocking.

  • Footwork & Agility: Developing quick feet for efficient transitions and strong throws.

  • Field Leadership: Learning to command the game and communicate with confidence.

Whether your athlete is putting on the gear for the first time or sharpening her skills for competitive play, she’ll build the tools and confidence to own the plate!

Guest Instructor: Rylee Trlicek

Bio:
Coach Rylee Trlicek is a standout left-handed pitcher from Hallettsville, Texas. In 2019, she was named the Gatorade Texas Softball Player of the Year after posting a dominant 0.85 ERA with 243 strikeouts and leading her team to the state finals.

On the international stage, Rylee represented the U-19USA Women’s National Team, helping Team USA capture a WBSC World Cup Gold Medal and pitching a combined no-hitter against Australia in the semifinals.

Rylee continued her career at the University of Florida, where she earned the SoftballAmerica.com Freshman Pitcher of the Year honors in 2020. She made history as the first freshman in Florida history to throw back-to-back complete-game shutouts in her first two SEC starts, remaining a premier asset in the circle throughout her time as a Gator.

Guest Instructor: Gordy Bravo

Bio:
Coach Gordy Bravo hails from Corona, California, where she was a standout at Roosevelt High School and a First Team ESPN All-State selection.

Following her prep career, Gordy played for Brigham Young University (BYU), where she was named 2013 Conference Freshman of the Year. As a junior, she set the single-season record at BYU with a .444 batting average and was voted as the conference Player of the Year.

From 2014 to 2020, Gordy represented the Mexican National Team, qualifying for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She also played professionally in the NPF for the Cleveland Comets and has been coaching with the Texas Blaze Fastpitch organization since 2023.
